Palace in the heart of Bangkok.
Wat Pho is one of the oldest temples in Bangkok, originally built in the 16th century,
and later renovated in the 18th century during the reign of King Rama I. The temple
features stunning Thai architecture, including colorful mosaic tiles, golden spires,
and murals depicting scenes from the Buddha's life.
The Chedis (stupas) around the temple represent the kings of Thailand, with the largest
being the one for King Rama I. There are more than 1,000 Buddha images in Wat Pho,
the largest collection in Thailand!
