The Cascades du Hérisson, located in the Jura department of eastern France,
in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, are one of the country's most stunning
natural attractions. This series of breathtaking waterfalls is formed by the Hérisson
stream, which flows over limestone plateaus and cascades down dramatic cliffs.
The Hérisson stream tumbles through a picturesque valley, creating seven main
waterfalls over a 3.7 km stretch. The largest and most famous waterfall ist the
Cascade de l'Éventail. It fanning out majestically from a height of 65 meters.
