The DVD's we bought are beneficial to our patients with dementia. We have taken them on trips to the seaside and when we put on The Flow of Nature DVD, with the sea tracks, we can ask them what it reminds them of and stimulate memories of their trips to the sea.
Our other residents, and indeed several members of staff, have also said how much they enjoy watching the DVD's and have commented on the music as being lovely and very relaxing. The music has even stimulated conversation as to what instruments were used, piano, violin etc. I've watched the DVD's myself and I find it's everything together, the combination of visuals and music, which really draws you in.

Several months ago I purchased 3 different DVD's - Beach Collection, Coral Tranquility, and The Flow of Nature. Love your DVD's - have them playing in my studio for my clients to watch while I work on their nails - beautiful scenery. The Flow of Nature is my favourite because of the music and video combined and the large selection of 9 different scenes.

I recently purchased this DVD for my father's 87th birthday. He lives in a nursing home and has dementia and aphasia. He can no longer talk and rarely responds to his environment. When I shared this DVD with him he watched the entire movie and nodded to me. It's a series of films about water flowing - waterfalls, streams, geysers, the ocean - accompanied by natural water sounds or by soothing music. It is calm and relaxing - perfect for nursing home residents or individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The photography is first class, but the programming is very inflexible. The VAT 19 DVD, "Ambient Calm: Scenes of Serenity" , has much more 'user friendly' programming, though the pictures are slightly,but only slightly, less professional looking.

The photography is stunning and the music is so soothing without bursts of sound that would wake you up should you drift peacefully off to sleep! Well done! I've purchased music videos before and although the scenes were beautiful... the music was nerve wracking. Not in this case! Stupendous job! Really lovely relaxation DVD, I like the unusual theme- never been to Yellow Stone and it makes me want to go! You have in the main menu a wide variety of types scenes to chose from- this is really a good all rounder relaxation DVD. From the main menu the scenes are set to piano music that is relaxing but not dull. The scenes change fairly quickly which I like because you can sit down and watch t and it holds your attention while also being calming.
There is another menu with natural decoration- long shots of just one scene. There are three of these and they are set up so you can choose natural sounds, music, or both for each scene. The geyser is my favourite but you also have a waterfall and a beach at sunset. Definitely one of my favourites with the variety of choices.

High HD quality and clarity, colorful scenes of different types of water "flowing". From oceans to geysers, this was professionally filmed. The sound was great and the music was not annoying as it can sometimes be on relaxation/meditation type videos. Very well done. Nice variety of scenes with stunning views of water in its many forms.
I highly recommend any of the World Nature Videos by Tony Helsloot. I own over twenty-five of them and never tire of watching them. They are great for relaxation or as a compliment to exercise or meditation. Would be great for people that are bedridden with illnesses and can't get outside.
