Picture yourself relaxing on a bench on a warm spring day. The sun is shining and you finally have a chance to do some bird watching. Of course, birds tend to zoom here and there and you miss some of their most lovely salient features. Not so with this DVD! Filmed in high speed slow motion, you won’t miss a thing! As ducks and their ducklings swim by, you get an up close and personal look at wing structure, tail feathers, eye stripes and the beautiful iridescence of feathers on their mantles that you just can’t savor while they are on the run. The lapping waves add much enjoyment to the water lovers. In addition to ducks, there are statuesque herons and pelicans. Not to be ignored, birds that frequent meadows are included too. Watch a peacock call in slow motion (it’s quite humorous) and enjoy a hummingbird perching, taking a breather from her usual frenetic quest for nectar. In any setting where peace and relaxation are a benefit, this is a great DVD to have on hand.

| Are you a bird lover? If so, then this is a great video for you. It has MANY kinds of ducks and birds including flamingos (my favorite) and peacocks too. I love the photography and the way they used slow motion to show them as they are pruning and looking like they�re just playing in the water and enjoying themselves immensely. It�s an excellent, peaceful film and the birds are so captivating to watch. The colors of the birds are so bright and sharp � there are a lot of close ups and they�re just beautiful. I have no idea what kind of ducks and birds a lot of these are, and I don�t really care that I don�t, but they�re all superb and a pleasure to watch them go about their daily lives. It�s such an enjoyable dvd - the sound is great too. 5 stars for the photography alone! All in all, it�s a definite keeper for my collection of Ambient videos. I do want to mention that I�ve seen some nature videos from other companies, and have never found anything close to the superior quality of Tony Helsloot�s creations.
