the North Sea, to which it is linked by a canal. The port of Rotterdam
is the biggest port in Europe.

a combined cable-stayed and bascule bridge and the red Willems Bridge,
it is also a cable-stayed bridge and was opened in 1981.
Another famous bridge is De Hef, it is a vertical-lift bridge over the Konings-
haven (Kings Harbor) channel at the port of Rotterdam.
