I have to say these virtual walks actually make me look forward to exercising, a first for me! I used to power walk around my neighbourhood but got so bored of it. It also rains a lot in Scotland. I invested in a treadmill but was looking for something interesting to watch whilst exercising and came across this great site.
The Osaka walk takes you on a beautiful riverside walk. The atmosphere is so peaceful and as it moves from day to night you see cherry blossoms illuminated coupled with rainy streets and the odd rumble of thunder. The final instalment in Dōtombori is so vibrant and with illuminations to rival Times Square. What is lovely about this is that I am seeing cities first hand that I am unlikely to be able to visit and It is fascinating to see different cultures. This walk is one of my favourites so far.

| Great dvd! I love how you go through a beautiful walk with the cherry blossoms in full bloom and the sound of the birds. Then an evening walk with the lights in the background that lead up to the beautifully stunning Osaka Castle. And last the bright, city lights and the hustle & bustle of the city. Another great one!

I love these and have quite a few. Not only do they keep me motivated for exercise but they are also great travelogues.
Why would I exercise indoors facing a blank wall when I can 'travel' around the world?
It is a great motivation to wake up and think where shall I go today.
I have trained myself to use these as my relaxation when I have downtime, instead of sitting down I go for a walk and the beauty of these is that you can fit them in between other jobs instead of having to 'find time'.
Osaka is one of my favourites, it has a lovely cosy feel which totally distracts me from the fact that I am exercising. Since I have discovered Tony Helsloots DVDs I have lost weight, gained fitness and my difficult knee is gone.
I also like Macau, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo walks. I highly recommend these.

when I was on holiday I loved to go for a walk around in the evening ...,
not only for walking and treadmill and cycling but also for those that cannot get out. I am a carer and cannot get out for walking, when I was on holiday I loved to go for a walk around in the evening looking at shops and along the river, now at last I have found the DVD, the virtual walks, it really feels like you are walking among the people, it is really great, I keep playing it over and over again, I will be looking for more when they come out.

I greatly enjoy walking to the three sections of this DVD, which are all set in Osaka, Japan.
The first is a peaceful daylight walk through the park beside the river and over a bridge. Local people are seen walking and jogging – it is just like being there. The glorious cherry blossom trees and the cheerful birdsong make this exercise so enjoyable.
The second has me walking through pretty blossom trees at night; I enjoy the lovely atmosphere, and there are glimpses of the castle and all its lights. The various different views include the ornate gate, and around the wall with the river flowing by its side. In some areas rain is falling, giving a serene, cooling effect.
In the third walk I am among the bustling, busy night life in the centre of Osaka, with bright lights and joyful sounds. There are paths and colourful shops on both sides of the city’s gently flowing river.

| This is one of my favourites...love the cherry blossoms...wish I had smell-o-vision on my tv. The walking pace is very good. Keep these coming...they allow me to travel without leaving my living room until I can afford to go to these places. Thanks.

| I own several Virtual Walks DVDs and I really love this DVD. Exercising on the treadmill is so much more fun with this DVD. You pass cherry blossom trees, a river or you cross the park of Osaka Castle. What I really like about this DVD is that it was also raining, this just makes this video much more authentic. You can see many people with umbrellas without getting wet yourself. A video is also filmed in the darkness, so you can see the beautifully lit trees of the park. The third video makes you feel like you´re in a different world. You walk through the city, you pass a river and can see houses with futuristic lightning. You really feel like you´re walking through Osaka yourself, as the sounds match the videos perfectly.

| This is great! I miss Osaka, and this makes me feel like I'm back there. I'm recovering from a foot injury, so I can't walk outside, but with these videos I can do a workout indoors and feel like I'm out walking. My only criticism is that I would like the segments to be longer. I get that you want to switch scenes so that people don't get bored, but I want the feel of a long, continuous walk, as if I'm really there walking.
