You walk along the Baltic Sea’s steep coast near Stohl at sunrise. The first light lifts over the horizon, soft pink and gold spreading across the water. Pale cliffs glow gently abovethe shore, where small waves break on stone and sand. Beech trees lean toward the sea, their exposed roots dark against the brightening sky. Gulls call as the air tastes cool and salty.
The path opens and closes between forest and cliff edge. Below, the sea shifts from deep gray to green and silver as the rising sun moves across it. Dew clings to wild grasses and flowers, bending low in the morning breeze.
Gradually, the coast falls away and the land rises. The sea fades behind you, replaced by open fields washed in early light and a wide, quiet sky. Bülk Lighthouse appears ahead, catching the sun, standing high above the shore and guiding ships from far inland.
Here, at sunrise, land and sea meet in stillness—wind, space, and a calm beginning to the day.
