České Budějovice is a historic city located in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. The Town Square (Náměstí Přemysla Otakara II) is one of the largest town squares in Central Europe. It is surrounded by historic buildings with arcades. The square is dominated by the Baroque Samson Fountain, one of the largest of its kind in the Czech Republic.
One of the famous landmarks of the city is the Cathedral of St. Nicholas. Originally built in the 13th century, this Gothic cathedral was later renovated in the Baroque style. It is located next to the Black Tower and is known for its beautiful interior and historical significance.
