One of the country’s most historic cities, St. Louis truly lives up to its nickname: the Gateway to the West. Thanks to its central location and its close connection to the Mississippi River, the city has long been a crossroads of culture, commerce, and exploration.
On this run, we’ll take you along iconic routes with views of the famous Gateway Arch from multiple angles, then into the calm, green spaces of Jefferson Park and the Riverfront Trail.
There’s also plenty to discover in Downtown St. Louis, plus an unforgettable stretch through Forest Park—one of the largest urban parks in the United States and home to several major attractions.
This perimeter route takes you past Jefferson Lake and the Missouri History Museum, before finishing on the St. Louis Riverfront Trail, an 11-mile path that leads all the way to the Chain of Rocks Bridge.
