Prague Castle is a symbol of the Czech Republic and one of the most significant cultural and historical landmarks in Europe, dominates the skyline of Prague. Situated on a hill overlooking the Vltava River, the castle has been a seat of power for Czech kings, emperors, and presidents for over a thousand years.

Prague Castle is not a single building but rather a complex of palaces, churches, courtyards, gardens and other structures covering an area of almost 70,000 square meters, making it one of the largest castle complexes in the world.

The Old Royal Palace was the seat of Czech kings from the 11th to the 16th century. It features the Vladislav Hall, a vast Gothic hall used for banquets, coronations and even indoor jousting tournaments.

The St. Vitus Cathedral is a Gothic cathedral and the most prominent and important church in the Czech Republic. Construction began in 1344 under the direction of Emperor Charles IV, but the cathedral wasn’t completed until 1929. The cathedral's impressive spires, intricate stone carvings, and stunning stained glass windows are architectural highlights.
